Representatives of KarRC RAS took part in the International Workshop on Arctic Marine Environment Research Co-operation in the Barents Region, which took place on April 18-19 at the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE) in Helsinki, Finland.
The aim of the workshop was to share information about ongoing projects and identify new initiatives in the sphere of Arctic marine environment research in the Barents Region put forward by partners from Russia, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

Climate change and multiple human-induced stressors threatening the Arctic marine environment call for innovative and integrated international research co-operation for sustainable development of the region. - Biodiversity and climate change in the Barents Region;
